Ultimate / Disc-golf

Ultimate frisbee is a team sport with a flying disc. The goal is to win by scoring more points than the opposing team.The way of scoring points is simular as in American football or rugby - you need to catch a pass in the end zone. It is a non-contact type of sport, so you cannot push around. You have 8-10 seconds to throw a disc depending on the game regulation. You cannot run with a disc, you can only rotate with it arond the supporting leg. This sport is spectacular and dynamic - you can confirm this just by searching a video of it on YouTube (use "ultimate frisbee" as key words).

The HSE Team has appeared in December 2010 in order to take part in a student tournament held by Moscow State University. Since then it regulary participate in stundent and club competitions.The HSE is one of the first universities that started to form Student Ultimate League. The HSE Team has already won all national tournaments awards. 

We accept everyone. Playing any sports in the past would be an advantage,but it is not necessay because everybody will need to work on their throwing technique. Monitoring games - via video as well as in life - and personal involvement in tournaments will give you understanding of the game over time.

17.00-20.00 - section for all comers (boys and girls)

20.00-22.00 - section for all comers (boys and girls)
